What do I need to do to book my trip?
All the charters can be booked online in the Book Your Trip section or call Todd at
(715) 459-2234. Once the dates have been selected a $100 deposit is required to lock your date(s) in. Todd will be in touch with you a few days before the outing to review the logistics of the trip.
What charter/guided time frames do you offer?
Forcier’s Fishing Guide Service, LLC offers two outings:
Full day outing (8 hrs)
Half Day outing (4 hrs). (morning or afternoon)
What type of fishing license do I need?
If you are a resident of Wisconsin, you will just need a standard fishing license. If you live outside Wisconsin, you will need an out of state license.
What happens if it rains on my trip?
Forcier’s Fishing Guide Service, LLC is a rain or shine business. While it may seem like a bummer to fish in the rain, these are the days that offer the best fishing. Fish prefer overcast weather and usually leave their hiding spots to roam of forage.
Do you provide rain gear?
No, Forcier’s Fishing Guide Service, LLC does not provide any rain gear. Please bring your rain gear. It can help on those windy days too. Also, dress for the weather, UPF clothing for those sunny days, an extra jacket/sweatshirt for those cool or cold days.
Do we need to bring fishing rods and tackle?
No, Forcier’s Fishing Guide Service, LLC can provide you with the same equipment I use daily. However, you are welcome to bring your fishing rod and a small tackle box of jigs or musky lures.
Do we need to bring lifejackets?
No, Forcier’s Fishing Guide Service, LLC will provide clients with standard size lifejackets. For those who wear 2X + or for smaller kids, I will ask you to bring your lifejackets.
Where do we meet?
I will be in contact with you by phone or email. I will determine which direction you’ll be coming from. I will pick and easy location for us to meet at, such as the parking lot of a box store or I may send you a drop pin from Google Maps. The drip pin will give you directions to our meeting location, and I will meet you there.
Can you recommend any hotels?
Yes, I have two suggestions for local motels. These suggestions come from past clients and have served all past clients well.
Do we need to bring a lunch or any snacks?
You can pack a lunch to eat in the boat or I have two locations to stop and eat. This gives you a chance to use the bathroom and stretch.
* Please note I do not allow peanuts in shells or orange-colored chips in the boat.
Can we smoke in the boat?
Yes, you can smoke in the boat. Understand you are responsible for any damage from your cigarettes.
